George Gklavas is a Civil Engineer MSc with 25years of experience after his involvement in public and private projects in various domains of civil engineering.
His experience is built on design and consulting services, Project Coordination in Athens Metro underground Stations, Deep excavations, design and supervision for Various residential and commercial properties including industrial development, Property Valuation, Consulting and Quality assurance on Highway Projects, etc.
Following the recent (last six years) Greek legislation about Energy Auditing as well as Energy Improvement and Energy Building Certification, George Gklavas is one of the first Certified Energy Auditors (No. 74) in Greece with notable experience in large office building certification, having already a portfolio of 500.000 m2 of total area of certified buildings consisting of
Public buildings (Ministries, Authorities, Police, HRAF (TAIPED) Portfolio) and private practice commercial buildings (pharmaceutical, banks, etc.) with units of ventilated area up to 40.000 m2. Considering the need of building energy efficiency and the emerging market tendency of building certification George Gklavas is certified as LEED AP for Operation & Maintenance (USGBC), providing LEED certification consulting services.
